Everything our community needs
Some of our qualities
In November 2001, The Juvenile Welfare Board (JWB) staff began working with Ridgecrest area residents, community leaders, and service providers in a community planning process. Through a review of JWB research data, social indicators and census data review and analysis, structured interviews and focus groups, a community profile of assets, needs and service gaps were developed. JWB research data provided a means of determining the extent to which JWB funded agencies were serving the Ridgecrest community. This updated assessment revealed the unmet social, housing, environmental, and other community infrastructure needs within the Ridgecrest community. In response to these needs, Our service areas consist of 11 neighborhoods in Mid Pinellas that make up the Greater Ridgecrest Area, the primary zip codes served are 33774, 33770, and 33778.
